PRIVACY / LOCAL FIRST
Your prompts belong to you.
ChatAllAI is a local-first multi-AI workspace and on-demand page assistant. It sends only user-entered or explicitly previewed text to third-party AI websites actively selected by the user.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the ChatAllAI Chrome extension and chatallai.cc. The website has no account system, analytics, forms, or product backend, and it does not receive or proxy extension prompts or answers.
ChatAllAI is independently developed and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the third-party AI services it supports.
2. Data collected and processed
The extension handles prompts entered in the ChatAllAI editor, selected third-party AI services, response text and observable task status from selected provider pages, session URLs, workspace names, provider order, language, concurrency settings, and task metadata.
After you click Side Panel Read or use its context menu, the extension may also handle a selection or purified article from the active top-level page, together with its title, URL without query or fragment, language, and truncation status, and shows a preview first.
The current version is text-only and does not provide file uploads, OCR, audio transcription, or built-in Side Panel translation. The Side Panel does not read login or password pages, PDFs, code or source viewers, iframe contents, inputs, editable regions, or hidden content. ChatAllAI does not read passwords, OAuth tokens, CAPTCHA responses, payment information, or precise location.
3. When data is collected and how it is used
A provider page loads only after you select that service. A workspace prompt is entered only after you select Send or use the explicit send shortcut. Side Panel content reaches one selected provider only after you first read and preview it, then explicitly click Send for a summary, grounded Q&A, or same-language polishing task.
This data is used only to send user-confirmed text, display pages and answers, restore workspaces and sessions, keep local history, identify sign-in or verification states, isolate failures, and avoid reporting an unconfirmed action as successful. ChatAllAI does not use data for advertising, cross-site profiling, credit decisions, data sales, or training a project-operated model.
4. Local storage, retention, and deletion
Workspaces, provider selections, session URLs, prompts, answers, and task status are stored in extension storage or IndexedDB in your current Chrome profile and are not synced to a ChatAllAI cloud. Raw Side Panel selections or articles remain in the current panel’s memory by default and are not written to workspace history or IndexedDB. Context-menu intent stores only tab and task routing metadata, never selected text. Tab changes or navigation clear the preview.
Local data remains until you delete the related workspace or history, clear extension data, or uninstall the extension. If a conversation also remains on a provider website, use that service’s own controls to delete it. Grok cookie copies follow the original cookie’s session or expiration rules and can be removed by clearing Grok or extension site data, or by uninstalling ChatAllAI.
5. Sharing, transfers, and all recipients
Automated recipients of user-confirmed content and sources of responses are limited to services selected for that run: OpenAI ChatGPT, Google Gemini, xAI Grok, Perplexity AI, DeepSeek, Alibaba Qwen, Moonshot Kimi, Meituan LongCat, Zhipu Qingyan, Baidu ERNIE Bot, iFlytek Spark, SenseTime SenseChat, Kunlun Tech Tiangong, 360 Nano AI, Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic Claude, ByteDance Doubao, or Tencent Yuanbao. Mistral AI and Meta AI are external pages opened only at the user’s request; ChatAllAI does not automatically enter prompts into or read answers from them.
When a selected page loads, its provider receives ordinary web-request data such as IP address, browser and device information, network requests, its own cookies, and account or session information. When you send, it also receives your confirmed text. Each provider processes data under its own terms, privacy policy, and retention practices. ChatAllAI does not send content to unselected services.
6. Local Grok cookie assistance and authentication
Only after you accept the current prominent disclosure and select Grok does ChatAllAI use Chrome’s cookies permission to process grok.com cookie names, values, domains, paths, expiration times, and SameSite or Secure attributes locally, adjust attributes when needed, and store a copy in the extension partition so Grok’s own embedded HTTPS and WSS requests can maintain the session. Cookie values are not sent to ChatAllAI, the developer, advertisers, or data brokers; Chrome provides them only with requests to grok.com.
Login, OAuth, password, and CAPTCHA steps must be completed by you on the provider’s official top-level website. ChatAllAI does not read, store, or forward passwords, OAuth tokens, or CAPTCHA responses and does not bypass CAPTCHAs, payments, free quotas, or account restrictions.
7. Website data and hosting
chatallai.cc has no account system, analytics scripts, forms, or product backend and does not receive or proxy extension prompts, answers, cookies, or session data. A hosting provider may process IP address, User-Agent, request time, requested path, and similar basic network logs to deliver, secure, and diagnose the site under its own privacy policy.
8. Browser permissions, security, and Limited Use
The extension does not request the tabs permission that exposes URLs and titles across browser tabs. It uses Chrome’s extension-context API only to identify its own workspace pages. The Side Panel first uses temporary activeTab access from a toolbar click or context-menu command; if that is insufficient, it requests optional access only for the current HTTP(S) site. Denial prevents capture. After switching to a tab without temporary access, you must invoke ChatAllAI again on that page.
Scripting, local storage, navigation, session network-rule, exact provider-domain access, and cookies permissions are used only for the single purpose described here. Temporary network rules apply only to declared provider subframes inside extension pages, not ordinary top-level browsing tabs. All extension logic and adapters are packaged with the release; ChatAllAI does not download or remotely hot-update extension code.
ChatAllAI has no project-operated server, account system, or telemetry. It does not sell data, provide it to advertising platforms or data brokers, or use it for personalized advertising, retargeting, credit decisions, lending, training a project-operated model, or unrelated purposes. Its use and transfer of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
9. User controls, children, and changes
You can select or deselect providers, edit a prompt before sending, preview Side Panel content before deciding whether to send it, deny or revoke ordinary-site access, delete local workspaces and history, clear site or extension data, uninstall the extension, or avoid any provider whose policies you do not accept.
ChatAllAI is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If capabilities or data practices materially change, we will update this page and the prominent in-extension disclosure and obtain required consent before new processing begins.
